I went to culinary school with aspirations on being the next great chef, but quickly realized the crazy hours and intense atmosphere were not for me. I joined Urban Tailz in 2005, and it's been my home ever since.
I have two wonderful dogs Mucha and Tesla that are my life outside of Urban Tailz. They keep me busy, full of love, and well-entertained. I get to play with lots of kitties and dogs on a daily basis working for Urban Tailz, and I wouldn't have it any other way.
I love cooking, but my passion now and forever will always be taking care of all my wonderful furry friends and their owners.
I grew up in Michigan and moved to Chicago in 2007. Chicago has always been my favorite city, and I have always wanted the big-city life. I started working for Urban Tailz in 2009.
I spent 8 years working in the hospitality industry before coming to Urban Tailz. My years working in hotels and customer service have given me invaluable knowledge that translates well to the pet service industry. I strive to make Urban Tailz the Four Seasons of pet services!
I've had animals for most of my life, and my obsession for animals knows no bounds. We have four dogs at home and would probably have more if I didn't already think people thought we were crazy. My dogs are my babies, so I know just how important our furry clients are to their families.
I'm Joanna, a freelance writer and Kentucky native. I've worked with animals for years, first as a regular pet-sitter and later as a Humane Society volunteer.
I grew up in a house full of pets - dogs, cats, rats, bearded dragons, the works - but I'm currently without a dog and missing one dearly. That said, I can't imagine a better way to spend my days than walking for Urban Tailz!
My hobbies include running, yoga, dipping pizza in ranch and overindulging my two very needy cats.
I grew up in a small town west of Chicago and moved here around 15 years ago. I love Chicago and don't plan on ever living anywhere else. I live in Humboldt Park with my husband and Pit Bull Dyna. I love all dogs, but I'm definitely a big fan of bully breeds.
I can't get enough of dogs, and working for Urban Tailz gives me the opportunity to be around all sorts of different sizes and breeds. It also gets me out and moving! When I'm not walking dogs I also work at a beer bar where I've learned a ton about beer, and get to try different kinds too. I love watching movies and hanging with my husband and dog.
My name's Paige! I moved to Chicago from Oregon to see what big city life is all about and I'm loving it so far. I have always had a huge spot in my heart for animals and decided I wanted to start working towards a career where I get to help animals anyway I can. Let me love your fur babies!
I've worked in the service industry for the last 8 years so I understand the power of open communication and resolving problems quickly. It makes me smile to see how happy your animals are when we go out for a walk or just to sit and visit with them.
I grew up in a small town in Bulgaria and my childhood was full of every-day adventures, mostly shared with my dog Dessy. Couple of years later I moved to the capital of my country - Sofia but outdoor activities stayed in my life as something essential. I love animals, being outside in nature, hiking or climbing in the summer and snowboarding in the winter. There's no better way for me to enjoy all that but to share it with my 6 year-old black lab Chopper.
Even though I graduated in Molecular Biology I've always knew I'd peruse career in photography because that's something I've been doing with so much passion since my early teenage years. In 2012 my work took me to New York City where I was filming most of my days; but I missed my dog so badly that I started walking dogs in my free time. It happened to be the best moments spent in NYC - it was fun, kept me active and was like a therapy after a stressful day. I was amazed by the positive energy this job gave me and humbled by the respect and trust that I've been getting from all my clients.
Two years later I moved to Chicago to start a project for the Bulgarian International TV Channel but my love for dogs is right here with me :)
I joined Urban Tailz because they are experienced, dedicated and flexible. I believe in good care and a personal, outside of the box pet service. I am happy to be a part of the Urban Tailz team!
I grew up on a farm and love the outdoors and animals. Working for Urban Tailz allows me to hang out with great dogs while also being outside on a daily basis.
While I'm not walking dogs, I enjoy working out and doing anything outdoors. I also enjoy riding my scooter around town during the summer months.
Hi! My name is Alma, and I have been working for Urban Tailz almost as long as I can remember. Over the years, I have walked dogs and taken care of cats all over this beautiful city. I love being outdoors and being active, so this is the perfect job for me. When I'm not walking dogs, biking, or skating, I also enjoy playing and watching soccer. I love walking around Chicago and noticing simple beauty, like flowers and butterflies.
Taking care of animals makes me happy, and I will be sure to take great care of yours!
Hey! I’m Alp, film school graduate and Istanbul native. After I graduated from college I worked for couple visual editorial and advertisement companies. Not long enough later I discovered that I just wanted to focus on my art projects and use my skills just for artistic reasons. So I made my move to Chicago to work on my upcoming album and short movie projects. When I moved to Chicago, I had to leave my old friend Zeus and his baby boy TG with my mom. It didn’t take long enough for me to understand that I can’t live without an animal around me so I got my little, short hair, black cat Bean who’s always busy with running around the house, sleeping and sneaking into the bathtub.
I was always a big time walker and most of my creative ideas came into me while I’m on my daily walk routines and thanks to Urban Tailz, I have my cute friends to accompany me on my walks.
Hi! I'm Amanda. I was born and raised in the best city there is...Chicago! I enjoy working for Urban Tailz because there is nothing more satisfying than seeing a happy animal waiting for you as you walk through the door!
When I'm not with my furry animal friends I like to go for runs and play tennis. I also enjoy checking out different coffee shops and restaurants in the city. And of course, hanging with my friends and family!
Hi! I'm Angel! I have lived in Chicago my whole life and have always loved animals. I love being around all kinds of animals, but I'm a dog lover above everything else. Working for Urban Tailz not only allows me to take my doggie friends on adventurous walks, but also allows me to build a bond and friendship with each and every one of them.
My clients know my love for all things Bravo TV, so they usually have the channel listed for me when I'm house sitting with one of my furry friends. There's nothing better than snuggling up with one of my doggie clients while watching Real Housewives!
I grew up in rural Illinois and moved to Chicago in 2005. I now live with my girlfriend, her two kitties Bela and Gus, and our crazy rabbit Choo Choo. I started working for Urban Tailz in 2006, and it has been my home ever since.
There is nothing better than spending my day with all my furry companions! Animals are my life, and I couldn't imagine not being around them everyday.
Hey there! My name is Brittany. I've been living in Chicago for about 4 years now and absolutely love this city. Exploring is one of my favorite things to do during my free time and thanks to Urban Tailz, I'm now able to adventure around Chicago with man's best friend. I've always had such a love for animals since I grew up around so many and I couldn't think of a better gig for myself than hanging out with dogs all day and enjoying the outdoors!
Aside from my love for animals, I am also a free lance circus performer who specializes in fire eating. I spend my weekends traveling to wherever entertainment is needed and I also vend at festivals over the summer selling custom wire wrap pendents.
Hi, I’m Brittany! I moved to Chicago last year for graduate school with my husky-mix Cody. It’s been so much fun exploring our new city together while out on our walks.
I grew up in a home that rescued all kinds of animals including dogs, cats, birds and ferrets. I am a huge animal lover and have been caring for my own dog for 9 years.
Hey, I'm Connor!
I'm originally from Quincy, Illinois, and have been living here in Chicago for about four years. I've recently just graduated from DePaul University with a major in English Lit, and have been spending my free time exploring the city and meeting plenty of new and outrageous people that this city abounds with. I love to read, write strange poetry, paint, draw, take long walks, hang out at the beach, watch movies, talk about movies, and all around have a good time.
I've been around dogs all my life, and like most of us here feel a little bit more joy in my life each time I get to play with and take care of them. I'd be honored and delighted to walk your pups.
Hi! I'm Devin. I'm originally from Iowa, but I've lived in Chicago for the last six years. I'm an absolute animal lover and was once described as Most Likely To Befriend The Dog At The Party. I've always had dogs but, unfortunately, my current housing situation won't allow them. And by that I mean my roommates have cats - and what the cats say, goes.
To make up for my dog-less days, I housesit with Urban Tailz and volunteer with PAWS. My hobbies include going to concerts, listening to my roommates talk about their cats, and binge-watching every Friends and Law and Order episode known to mankind.
Hello! My name is Devin Ann and I love dogs! I grew up in Jefferson Park, was raised with three beautiful big dogs, and I’ve been in love with them ever since! I also currently have a three legged cat named Harley Quinn.
I am a full time hair stylist and have been behind the chair for almost ten years. In my spare time I love to hang out with my family and my sisters pit bull Gertty.
I’m very excited to be a part of the Urban Tailz family and to lend a helping hand to our four legged friends and their families.
Hey !! My name is Eloisa or as many others know me as Lisa, I grew up in this beautiful city of Chicago that I love oh so much! ....Growing up I wanted to be the next Steve Irwin but now that I’m older Im settling for my goal to be a vet tech! I have been caring for animals since I was a little girl and I truly feel the most comfortable when helping others and their pets, which is one of the many reasons I started working for Urban Tailz!
As of for myself and my free time I usually like to watch my favorite show The Office and if I’m not binge watching you’ll find me drawing to some tunes or flashing a camera. I have a cat named Dorky and a dachshund named Vienna (yes Vienna the hot dog brand) that I love soo much !! I am very pleased and excited to be working with your fur babies that I will be caring and loving as my very own!
Hello! I'm Emilio! I'm 24. Growing up my family always exposed me to a wide array of exotic animals, due to the rural locations they inhabited and the positions as ranch veterinarians and research biologists they held. I grew to love, respect, and be completely fascinated by ALL of our fellow sentient living organisms; from the lowly workaholic ant to the 15ft long deadly snuggler boa constrictor snake. Yet if I'm being completely honest I did develop a bit of favoritism in the animal world, and to me personally there is a standout species: Canis lupus familiaris AKA ♥Dogs♥. Although very common and domesticated worldwide, to me nothing beats man's best friend, because well it's in the tagline, man's best friend. I very much am obsessed with our loyal, dopey, playful, cute, needy, protective furry friends. And Urban Tailz allows me to spend fun quality time with doggies while getting much needed fresh air and exercise outside.
I say "much needed fresh air and exercise" because professionally I work as a video editor and have to spend long hours sitting in front of a computer screen stitching and tweaking narratives. The recreational things I enjoy the most are: Korean variety shows, weight lifting, running, cycling, filmmaking, comics, sculpting with clay, cooking, swimming, sailing/boating, stand up, and watching movies.
Hey there, I'm Emily! When I'm not studying to become a counselor at DePaul, I'm walking your dog while taking in the great city of Chicago.
I've grown up with animals my entire life; from cats to dogs, to even chinchillas and mice! So rest assured that your pet is in loving hands. Animals hold a special place in my heart, and I'm so lucky to be doing this as a job!
I'm Evan - originally grew up in Glenview, IL, but I always claimed to be a Chicago-native, like most suburbanites. I moved to Chicago to study Psychology at DePaul University where I graduated earlier this year (2018).
Recently, my girlfriend and I rescued an 11-year-old Havanese mix named Paige. We've only had her for almost a year, but she has quickly become our Princess.
While my parents never let us own any pets growing up, that didn't stop me from surrounding myself with dogs as much as I could. I would visit my aunts Shih Tzus on a weekly basis and would often offer to look after dogs of friends and family members at any opportunity available. I am ecstatic to have the opportunity to socialize and care for a number of different dogs and pets on a daily basis working with Urban Tailz.
Originally from Evanston, I went to college in Maryland then worked in D.C. and Michigan before returning to Chicago 4 years ago. I recently finished law school at The John Marshall Law School. I am currently working as a research assistant until I am sworn in and officially receive my license to practice law here in Illinois.
I grew up with yellow labs and several birds, I currently have two pet rats - Bella and Penelope. For me, nothing beats a beautiful Chicago summer day, especially if you add in the beach and a dog or two.I am an avid photographer who loves to travel and meet new people. I also enjoy biking, swimming, and skateboarding.
I'm happy to be a part of the Urban Tailz team and look forward to serving you and your awesome pups!
Hi! I'm Gigi. I grew up in Brooklyn, New York and ventured over to Chicago in 2012 to study Veterinary Science. I grew up with so many wonderful pets from dogs to cats to birds to fish to rabbits to lizards and so much more. Now one of my favorite activities in Chicago is dog walking and in my avid free time, I love to volunteer at animal shelters. It's one of the best feelings to know that I'm sharing experience with awesome dogs and Urban Tailz has allowed me to do that while enjoying my love of the outdoors.
Some of the many things I enjoy outside of dog walking are cooking, sketching, writing, Zumba, traveling, and spending time with friends and family.
In November 2013 I joined the Urban Tailz team as part-time holiday help. I was asked to join the team full-time shortly after.
I grew up in the northwest suburbs of Chicago in Wheaton. I have lived in the city for 4 and a half years. I share a home in Wicker Park with my boyfriend Michael, who also works for Urban Tailz.
My degree is in early childhood education. I have fallen so deeply in love with these animals that I don't know if I would ever go back!
I've grown up around dogs and cats for most of my life, and have great affection for them. Joining Urban Tailz was an easy decision -- the owners and staff are terrific, and few things make me happier than spending time with animals. Our furry companions need care, exercise, socialization and love, and I'm committed to providing them with plenty of each.
When I'm not doing Urban Tailz, I can usually be found in Logan Square, where I live, or on the near south side. I'm interested in art and how it means what it means.
Hi, my name is Jeremy, and I moved here from Iowa in 2011. I love living in the Logan Square area, especially when I'm doing aerial photography with my camera drone.
I grew up with two Dachshunds back in Iowa. We rescued Hershey from a breeder who thought she couldn't breed anymore and then Hershey gave us Dude. I miss them both and really enjoy getting some time away from work on my computer so thank you for letting me walk your pet. :D
Hello! My name is Jessie. I grew up in Iowa, but moved to Chicago with my husband and my two children five years ago. I was a stay at home mother for the first 6 years, then made the transition into teaching preschool! I have a lot of patience and feel like my love for children translates well to my love for animals as well!
These dogs are your family and I will care for them and love them as if they were my own. When I'm not walking dogs, I enjoy dancing and reading. Running in the summer and skiing in the winter. Also, I am currently enrolled in school furthering my education in early childhood development. I love animals very much and I will make sure to treat your fur babies with care and lots of love!
I’m a dog loving Chicago native real estate agent who performs at local venues as a freestyle rap artist. True story.
My resume is full of odd jobs that were fun for a bit but dull for the most part. Ride-share driver, debt collector, pawn shop appraiser, busser and about ten other gigs. Seriously. None of these jobs fulfilled me until I became a dog walker.
The best part is that dogs and walking are part of a healthy lifestyle, so I make sure to include them in my life.
I’m less stressed around friends and the reality is; dogs are family and friends. I’m happier and less stressed as a dog walker. Part of why I became a real estate agent was because of dog walking and I’m grateful for that.
So, to every Urban Tailz client—thank you and make sure to follow all my walks on Snapchat: jesuswalksdogs
I grew up in Lakeview and have lived in Chicago my whole life. I love working for Urban Tailz because I get great exercise, and my furry friends make great company to any walk no matter the weather.
In my spare time, I love playing soccer and basketball. I also love going to the movies.
Originally from Honduras and grew up in Miami, I moved to Chicago almost a year ago and digging it! The first dog I ever had was a Pekingese I got as my 9th birthday present who I appropriately named Goofy after watching 'An Extremely Goofy Movie'. A few years later my Chihuahua named Sparky joined the family, and shortly after a British Bulldog named Bruce joined us too!
Working for Urban Tailz lets me get to explore this amazing city and spend time with some awesome dogs, each with their own different personalities! It's always a good time to meet any new dogs to walk and forming a bond as you come to visit them for walks day after day.
In my free time I love traveling, playing basketball, trying new foods, and watching a ton of movies. Away from Urban Tailz I am freelance cinematographer and videographer who shoots a variety of different productions across Chicago and South Florida.
I moved to Chicago from the east coast, which means I'm always pleasantly surprised with the smiles and waves I receive walking down the street. While Philadelphia is a beautiful city it isn't exactly a kind one. This past year I graduated from Columbia College Chicago with a BFA in Screenwriting and currently work freelance assignments.
Freelance writing is a great job but sometimes sitting at a desk for hour on end researching, drafting, and line-editing can come perilously close to tedium. So instead of devising new and improved methods of procrastinating (ever make a desktop pig out of a pink eraser and a few twisted paperclips?) I began working with UrbanTailz. It's a joy to explore all the vast and varied neighborhoods across the city and doing it with some of the cutest dogs and cats in Chicago is a great bonus.
Hello! I am Katie, a full-time graduate student and a small-town girl with big city dreams. I've been in Chicago for about 6 years and still can't get enough of the hustle and bustle. Animals have been a pivotal part of my life. There is nothing more heartwarming then seeing that tail wag or hearing the purr after coming home from a long day.
I grew up with many animals and have pet sat for family, neighbors and friends my entire life. Other than walking dogs, I enjoy being outside and exploring new environments. I also love getting exercise and visiting all of Chicago's many neighborhoods. I can't wait to meet all of Urban Tailz furry friends!
I grew up in the South Suburbs of Chicago and I am online student pursuing a degree in Veterinary Technology. My passion for animals keeps me motivated everyday. I've observed at animal hospitals as a part of my curriculum which has helped further my comfort levels with all animals!
I have owned and cared for dogs of all sizes (Min-Pin Chihuahua, Golden Retriever, Pit Bull, Alaskan Malamute). My apartment does not allow dogs so currently I have a cat named Joffery and a bearded dragon named Dragon.
I soon will be taking courses on animal behavior and breeds. I used to run cross country and track so I have no problem taking your pups for a stroll! In my free time you can typically catch me outside, at concerts, or baseball games.
I grew up in Maryland and moved to Chicago 3 years ago. I have a great pitbull mix Penny who is almost 2 now!
I love working for Urban Tailz because I get to be outside, and I get to walk dogs. Who could ask for a better job? Exercise and being outside all day, plus hanging out with some great pups every day is a pretty sweet gig!
I went to Illinois Champaign-Urbana and have a BFA in acting, which I put to good use in the city in my night hours. I also am a founding member of Definition Theatre Company in Chicago, so look for me on your stages/tv screen when you ask your dog how our awesome walk was!
Hello! I grew up in Florida most of my life and have just recently moved to Chicago looking for a change of pace.
I was drawn to Urban Tailz out of my lifelong passion for animals, especially dogs. When I was a student at the University of Florida I volunteered at a canine cognition lab, where I gained professional, hands-on experience with dogs of all kinds and learned a lot about dog psychology. I've also walked and pet-sat dogs all throughout my life.
I love biking around, being outside, and most of all I love spending time with dogs, so I can't think of a better way to spend my time than working for Urban Tailz!
Howdy, I'm Landen! I originally hail from Northern California, where some of my fondest memories were camping with my uncle and his wolf-dog in the Shasta forests, and exploring around my grandma's ranch with her quartet of big Labs. I just moved to Chicago and have to say, this city is the epitome of beautiful people, beautiful weather, and of course, beautiful dogs! The cold might be a shock for some Californians, but I've been pretty invigorated by the change of scenery.
I am merely a cat-dad in my personal life (on account of girlfriend's allergies), but my dream is to have a big fluffy Samoyed one day, which are somehow hypo-allergenic. In the meantime I'm thrilled to be a part of the Urban Tailz family and take great care of your precious furry kids!
I’m a chicago native who loves all animals-especially dogs. They are incredibly healing & make the world a better place. Working for Urban Tailz allows me to enjoy that great bond formed with all my furry friends.
I am a professional drummer & an international ashtanga yoga instructor who loves cooking, (especially doggie treats), gardening, & biking!
JUNE 2018 DOG WALKER OF THE MONTH. READ MORE HERE.
Hello, my name is Luke! I was born in the NW Suburbs of Chicago. After high school I moved to San Diego for about 5 years and work/family brought me back to Illinois.
I have been in the service industry for five years as a Golf Professional and am currently taking some time off (winter). I enjoy many activities, but my favorites are going to the gym, golfing and hanging in with my boxer dog Pugsley.
Hi I'm Manuel - "Manny"- I'm a native to Chicago and have always had a pet by my side growing up. Being a walker for me is second nature and over the years I've gained experience caring, grooming, and walking dogs.
My personality is big and Urban Tailz gives me the opportunity and pleasure to meet awesome dogs who have great personalities as big as mine. Other than being out and about with pups, I love writing, drawing, going to music festivals, concerts, and art shows. Whether it's cat sitting, dog sitting, or dog walking, I'm always here to help!
I love dogs. I have been around them mostly all of my life. Sebastian he was a Neapolitan Misting big guy, Buster he was a boxer named after Buster Douglas. Suzy she was a sweet Golden. Juanita, another boxer. And, Bella the one on the picture. It’s great to be around them and communicate in a canine human – way. I live in the gold coast. I have been in Chicago for 12 years. Before that N.Y. and Montreal.
When I'm not working for Urban Tailz I am a creative copywriter with 10 years in advertising experience; so I write and think stuff. My career has taken me to Argentina, Amsterdam, Spain – I have to say I’ve met dogs from those places too so I know dogs love internationally. I am glad to be part of Urban Tailz to walk and share time with your pets.
Hi I’m Mary Kate. I am originally from West Virginia and went to school at Ball State University for Musical Theatre. After I graduated in 2014, I moved to Chicago for the theatre scene. I did a few fun shows and worked full time at a restaurant but soon realized I didn’t have much balance in my life. Enter Urban Tailz…
My family has always had dogs and I have walked a few professional, so when I started looking for new opportunities Urban Tailz was a perfect fit. I get to help take care of dogs all day, you say? Yes please. When I am not doing the acting thing, I love running and exercising. However, I’m sure my furry friends would make me eat those words if we went toe to toe… or would it be tail to tail or nose to nose? Anyway, I don’t have a dog of my own but I do spend quite a lot of time taking care of the beast that is my hair. It takes some serious grooming, so if your dogs have any stylists they like, I would love a referral. I am always excited to build new relationships with my clients and their owners ;) Have a great day!
I moved to Chicago in 2006 from Nebraska, and strangely enough, was not a football fan. I joined Urban Tailz in 2007, and I've become so fond of all my doggie friends. Going on long walks, teaching new tricks, and giving good scratches behind the ears are my specialty. When I'm not playing with my furry friends, I enjoy painting and creating things.
I recently moved to Chicago after completing a couple years of service with AmeriCorps in the Pacific Northwest. I am originally from Minnesota and went to school in Denver, where I studied Biochemsitry. I'm excited to be working at Urban Tailz and exploring the city with some sweet doggos.
When I'm not walking dogs, you can find me playing music, riding my bike, or fermenting all sorts of things in my kitchen.
Hi! I’m Melissa. I have 2 snuggly kitties, Bo and Cal. I have been around dogs my entire 24 years of life and couldn't imagine anything less. I love working for Urban Tailz because it allows me to spend my days playing with all your wonderful dogs.
When I’m not working for Urban Tailz, I have my own online business that I work from home. I also love to dance and be active as much as I can outside in my free time. :)
Hey there, my name is Mike. I grew up in the north suburbs of Chicago, and after living in Miami, FL walking dogs part time and working as a musician, I moved back home to Chicago a few years ago.
As a lifelong animal lover, working for Urban Tailz is a really great fit for me! I don't have a dog at the moment so getting to see cute dogs all day really helps me get my fix. Besides making music my other hobbies include woodworking, circuit bending electronics, and running.
Hi, I'm Muriel! I am an artist that loves to draw and paint, my favorite medium being watercolor. My second passion is music, I'm obsessed with finding new artists and diving into older music I may have missed.
After school, I spent 4 years in food service working as a barista, and just as many years working in retail. Though I always enjoyed connecting with customers and working with a team, I was unhappy with the culture of big corporations.
I've loved dogs all my life and spent my entire childhood begging for a puppy to no avail. I now have a puppy named Zelda who is a little fireball of energy and love. I've joined Urban Tailz so I can meet furry friends while spending more time enjoying the outdoors.
I taught English in Shanghai for a year after graduating from FSU, but quickly realized I was not cut out for such an extroverted position, where I needed to be so emotionally and socially engaged throughout the work day. I moved back to Florida and to busy myself started walking dogs around the neighborhood and from ads I posted on craigslist. I’m not exaggerating when I say dog walking was life changing- it completely changed my sleep/wake cycle for the better. I was outside, in the sun, walking every day, with dogs!! I don’t think there exists a healthier job, for mind, body, and spirit. I wanted to walk dogs full-time so I moved to Chicago in 2017 and that’s what I’ve been doing ever since!
I’m also a writer in my spare time, reviewing everything from movies to restaurants, and a full-blown comedy addict, whether it’s free stand-up around the city or a series on Netflix, I’m always on the prowl for great comedy.
I grew up in Oak Park, a suburb of Chicago. Sadly, I did't have any furry pets growing up only frogs, lizards, and fish. Shortly after studying jazz guitar performance at the CCPA at Roosevelt University I started acquiring a small zoo. I now share a home with the sweetest little Rat Terrier, a rambunctious Rhodesian Ridgeback, and a clowder of three strong-willed cats.
I'm also an avid cyclist and have been a fixture on the Chicago messenger and alley-cat racing scene for over a decade now. I came to Urban Tailz to spend my days making new animal friends and maybe some people ones too!
Hi there! My name is Sean and I originally hail from way out west in Phoenix, AZ. I moved to Chicago 8 years ago to pursue music as an audio engineer, songwriter and producer. I've had the good fortune of being able to travel the country playing music to hosts of wonderful people and find that making real human connections in the world is such a rewarding passion.
That's also something I love about being able to walk dogs in the city! It keeps me on the move and engaged with the world outside. And of course there's always the companionship you get hanging out with your pups every day! I feel that creating strong, trusting bonds with animals is often just as rewarding as with people.
Hi! I’m Stephanie, I was born and raised in the lovely city of Chicago. I lived in many areas throughout the years but I currently stay in the Austin neighborhood. I joined Urban Tailz because I absolutely love dogs! Ever since I was a kid I’ve always loved dogs and spent most of my time with my family’s pets. I just love being able to walk these beautiful dogs and making sure they’re nothing but happy!
When I’m not spending time with my furry friends I work another part time job at Mariano’s in the evening. I also like to spend time inside watching Netflix and cuddling with my dog Twix.
My name is Steve and I'm a Chicago native. I absolutely love animals and pets, especially dogs! Growing up, my family and I have always rescued shelter dogs. I fully understand how much people cherish their dogs, as I treat their dogs as if they were my own! It truly is an honor to provide such service.
During my free time, I enjoy playing musical instruments (guitar, bass, piano, etc.). I love to draw; I love all kinds of art. I enjoy reading; I have currently taken up writing. I also enjoy movies, martial arts, the outdoors, and science. I consider myself to be an environmentalist. I received my B.A. in environmental studies from Northeastern Illinois University.
Hi! My name is Willy, I'm an actor/comedian originally from Littleton, Colorado. I moved to Chicago right out of high-school for school, where I went to Columbia College to study Musical Theater and Comedy Writing. I then moved to Los Angeles for a few years, and am now very happy and excited to be back in the Windy City.
Growing up, I was always surrounded by dogs, usually a cross breed of some sort. I'd spend hours walking them, rough-housing with them, or just chilling and watching Frasier with them (their favorite).
I love comedy, I love to perform, I love to write, I love to bike, and I love hanging with cool dogs all day. I'm very happy to be working with Urban Tailz and hanging with some four-legged friends.
