Our Dog Walking Services
Thank you for contacting Urban Tailz! We would love to help you with your dog walking needs for your pet(s).
Our walks are 30-min visits between 10am-4pm during the week. You’ll be able to pick a 2-hour window during those times that works best for your needs. We also have 50-min extended dog walking visits if your pet(s) need a little extra exercise during the day. Our walks are fully GPS tracked, so you’ll be able to see the route your pet and walker took during their visit.
The walks will always be done by the same dog walker, unless the walker is sick or needs a day off, in which case we’ll let you know another walker is coming that day. That way there are no surprises. We also will only walk your dog(s) during the walk. We do not walk your dog(s) with other client’s pets, so your pet(s) get our full attention.
We also have morning, evening, and weekend walks if needed. We are available from 7am to 9pm 365 days a year! Our off-peak walks are picked up by whichever walker happens to be available for that certain walk, so we cannot guarantee the same walker for off-peak walks. We will always ask your regular midday walker first if they’re available though!
Scheduling walks, communicating with your walker and management, and even paying your bill are made easy with the Time to Pet software that Urban Tailz uses. There’s even an app you can download to your phone or tablet, which makes setting up care for your pet easy while on the go!
Urban Tailz provides our walkers their own leashes called the Weiss Walkie. The beauty of this leash is that it is both a leash AND a harness. The leash attaches to the pet’s collar like a normal leash, wraps around the pet’s chest area, and then is secured through a metal loop near the clasp attached to the leash. This provides our pets’ greater security over using a regular collar or harness.
The Weiss Walkie, used as a harness, is our default leashing practice. However, if your dog has unique needs, or you’d rather we use your own equipment, please let us know. We’ll make a note on your account.
We would love to schedule a meeting with you where one of our managers can come to your home, meet you and your pet, and further discuss our services.
