Adventure Dog Walks

We started doing adventure dog walks with our own dogs during the Shelter in Place order. Our pups needed exercise and stimulation, but we needed to be able to distance ourselves from people on our walks. We began touring spaces all around the Chicagoland area, hitting up just about every dog-friendly forest preserve in a 50-mile radius.

The dogs loved the walks, and we loved what the walks did for our dogs. They shed weight and anxiety, and showed signs of contentment and happy exhaustion. They got to experience so many new sights and smells, providing positive mental stimulation in a time of stress. While we don’t have quite as much time as we had in April and May, we still find time to go on adventures, this time, just a little bit closer to home.

After seeing the positive impact these Adventure Dog Walks had on our crew, we immediately began planning ways to offer them to our extended furry family members, as well. That said, we’ve decided to offer options of 2-hour and 3-hour Adventure Dog Walks with our best and most experienced dog walkers. These will be social walks, limited to three dogs per dog walker. We are also offering private adventures for our less social pups!
