Hello! My name is Jeremy and I'm your friendly neighborhood Dog Walker / Programmer / Drone Pilot. Some day someone who doesn't understand how to edit their blog is going to need aerial photography of dogs and I will be their superhero. Until then I'm practicing. Practicing and walking your adorable dogs.

I came to Chicago by way of Iowa. The construction job I landed after college left much to be desired and so, after a year and a half of dirty concrete pours, I fled to the big shiny city I now call home. I made my living as a nonprofit fundraiser for the last 5 years and had the pleasure of speaking with somewhere around 30,000 people about the organizations I represented. My experience with so many different people from all over the world is something I will carry with me for the rest of my life. However, in 2017 I decided to change careers.

Programming is not only incredibly useful and versatile, I happen to think that it is incredibly fun (when I don't want to break my keyboard). After visiting a 'coding bootcamp' that cost around $20,000 and noticing they could afford to project a large animated flower on the elevator I made the decision to keep my money and teach myself. Currently I am working to build an application for door to door canvassing and hopefully someday soon I will have my portfolio website up.

While I embarked on my adventure to change careers I also started chasing a new passion; Aerial Photography. It turns out that flying into the sky with a robot and capturing gorgeous video is the most fun I could have with my summer. That passion led me to becoming a part 107 certified commercial drone operator ( that means the FAA won't yell at me ). Here is a link to some of my videos:

Thank you for getting to know me! The winter is going to melt away soon and I look forward to a summer outside with all of your pets!
