Heading out of town? Urban Tailz provides in-home bed & breakfast services for your pets. Your pet(s) can relax in the comfort of their home with our Bed & Breakfast service! A UT staff member will visit for 1 hour and 45 minutes in the evening followed by a 40-minute visit the next morning. This is a great alternative to our overnight care! We will provide walks, feeding, playtime and snuggles followed by a tuck in before we leave for the night. In the morning, we will return for a walk and feeding. A B&B midday walk can be added for an extra break for your pet(s) if desired.

 

Our bed & breakfast pet sitters have been background checked and have been regular dog walkers for a period of time before becoming pet sitters. They are our most trusted employees. Urban Tailz is also licensed, bonded, and insured to provide pet sitting services in Chicago.

How do bed & breakfast services work?

How our bed and breakfast  sitting works is you’ll let us know when you’d like us to arrive for the evening visit. Our sitters will arrive, take your pet(s) for a walk upon arrival, feed them if necessary, and then spend the rest of the visit snuggling or playing in the house. We will take your pet(s) for a final walk before tucking them in for the night. 

The following morning we will wake your pet(s) up from their slumber, feed them breakfast, and get them out on a long walk to start their day. 

We send an update when we arrive followed by an update at the end of each visit. 

What if my pet(s) need additional care throughout the day?

We are happy to add extra walks throughout the day if necessary! We provide a discounted rate to our B&B clients for all of our dog walking services. 

Will my bed & breakfast sitter follow the rules of my home?

Of course! We have a quick questionnaire that we send to our bed and breakfast clients that covers all rules of your home so you and your house sitter are on the same page while they are caring for your pet(s).

How will I communicate with my bed & breakfast sitter?

Urban Tailz uses Time to Pet software with text-like communication that makes it easy to communicate with your sitter while you’re away. Our managers also see the communication between you and your house sitter, so we always know what is going on and can help with anything if needed.
