September Pets of the Month: Morty and Buckley

Pets of the Month Morty and Buckley are very honored to receive this distinguished award!

Buckley is a 6 year old border collie from the great state of Oklahoma. He may be a Sooner at heart, but he roots for the Kentucky Wildcats like his momma. In his free time he enjoys playing catch, herding, and writing the next great America novel. His two least favorite things are the Alexa in the kitchen and skateboarders. His ultimate nightmare would be listening to the sound of a skateboarder on an Amazon Dot. A little known fact is that he brought before an ordinance to ban skateboarding in the city of Chicago that was narrowly defeated by the City Council. He’s also a very good boy.

Morty is a 9 year old Shih Tzu from parts unknown. Some say he spent the first several years of his life on a crab fishing boat off the coast of Newfoundland, but those rumors have never been substantiated. He loves barking at the dog next door and never met a meal he didn’t like….aside from chicken (it doesn’t agree with him). A fun fact is that Morty is actually a Certified Public Accountant. He gave up his “pawculator” years ago, but he still does tax returns for friends and family if you ask nicely enough and as long as you are not the dog next door. He also is a good boy.
