Sue | I started Urban Tailz in May of 2000. I used to work long hours and travel frequently. I often felt bad leaving my dogs and cats home alone. Urban Tailz allows me to spend more time with my family while helping others with their families. Over the years my family has grown. We now have 2 children, 2 dogs, 3 cats and usually some visting dogs (we are a foster home for a group called Recycled Rotts). Our Portage Park house is a little crazy but that’s the way we like it. |

Carine | My name is Carine, and I started working with Urban Tailz in January of 2005. I grew up with dogs and cats, and I have always had a great love for animals. I wouldn't trade the time I've spent walking dogs and looking after cats for anything!
I went to the University of Arizona and graduated with a B.A. in Psychology. I also went to the Cooking and Hospitality Institute of Chicago and studied the Culinary Arts.
I have a Puggle named Mucha. Having my own dog has been invaluable in helping me learn about dogs. I am practicing my job 24 hours a day! I always treat all of our animals as if they were my own.

Colin |
I am 26 years old and a graduate of DePaul University, but I have been walking dogs and helping Sue and Urban Tailz with whatever I can for about the last four years. When I am not walking dogs I am usually playing music and touring with my band.
However, it is always nice to return to the dogs. |

Bernadette |
My name is Bernadette and these are my dogs Samson and Floyd. I have lived in Chicago for the last two years and am a student at Columbia. I have been walking dogs with Urban Tailz since May 2005.
I have always had dogs and cats in the family and have been an animal lover my whole life. I got my first job at 13 working at a barn where I fed 72 horses plus goats, sheep and llamas. After that I worked in an animal hospital and then at a doggie daycare. I have also worked in a grooming shop where I washed and dried every kind of dog from teacup poodles to Anatolian shepherds.
I love working for Urban Tailz, I couldn't ask for a better job - I get to hang out with cute dogs all day and walk around our beautiful city

Leon |
In May of 2005, fate brought me from San Francisco to Chicago. In November of that same year, destiny brought me to Urbantailz. Since then, I've enjoyed all of the great experiences that have come with dogwalking, meeting a lot of cool people and learning the lay of the land so much that my face should come up when searching maps on yahoo ! My name is Leon and the level of service I provide is a reflection of Urbantailz commitment to every pet's well being. |

Alex | Alex originally hails from Grosse Pointe, Michigan, and moved to Chicago after attending Boston University. Alex also has a Master’s degree from the University of Chicago, which makes him uniquely qualified to walk your dog. Alex really likes dogs, but his favorite dog, without question, is yours. |

Ben | Hi, my name's Ben. I'm a recent Chicago import originally from rural Illinois. I've enjoyed working with Urban Tailz since February 06, when my friend Carmen got me hooked-up with the puppies. I really enjoy all the time outdoors, exercise, and putting on a good old-fashioned game of "tug-o-war," or "fetch."
With the dogs of course. |

Carmen | I am a Chicago native. I grew up in Lincoln Park, Riverview (currently known as roscoe village) and Logan Square. I graduated with a BA in Interactive Multimedia with a concentration in Photography. I've held a number of interesting jobs from a lemonade maker at Navy Pier to a client liaison for the family concrete business...but none compare to Urban Tailz..by far my favorite job ever. |

KC | I am originally from Nebraska and hence a huge Cornhusker football fan, obviously a big animal lover, a massage therapist, and recently married. My favorite food is honey nut cheerios and I am a vegetarian. I love Urban Tailz because it's great to be around the dogs all day, and it gives me the flexibility to pursue a career in Natural Healing. |
