Urban Tailz is a member of NAPPS (The National Association of Professional Pet Sitters) and this is the insurance company they recommend using. Urban Tailz is a LLP and is licensed to provide pet care services in the city of Chicago.What methods of payment do you accept?We do not require payment until all services have been performed. For our daily clients, we set a schedule for a 4 week period. We require payment at the end of the 4 week period. We know that schedules can often change, so invoicing at the end of the period makes billing easier for additions and cancellations. While we do accept cash and checks we also offer credit card payments. Credit card payments can be made online through our secured server or we can keep a card on file for you. If you keep a card on file, we will send an email notifying you when payment has been made and of the amount.Do we need keys to your house?Yes we prefer to have two set of keys. One stays with the walker and the other set stays in the office. We should never have a key problem if we have the backup set. We are also very comfortable with alarm systems. Many of our clients give us our own code similar to a babysitters code.Does the same walker come every day?We do our very best to schedule the same walker for each visit. We feel that it is important to build a relationship between the dog and the walker. Sometimes it is out of our control and a walker has to be changed. If that is necessary, we have the current walker do the introduction. We will do anything we can to ease the transition.Will my dog be walked with other dogs?This is primarily your choice. We will never walk more than 2 dogs at a time. Most of the time your dog is walked alone. We believe your dog deserves one on one time. However, if you have a neighbor that you would like to share a walk with we will accommodate that.What is your cancellation and addition policy?We ask for 24 hour notice but we do understand that last minute things come up all of the time. As long as you give us time to get in touch with the walker we will not charge for a cancellation. Last minutes additions will be accommodated as long as we have room on the schedule. If anything comes up last minute we encourage you to ask.How long has Urban Tailz been in business?We started taking care of pets in May of 2000. We always remember why Urban Tailz was started and that your needs and concerns are our top priority. |
